Accomodation Rules

Schedule:

Check-in: from 16:00 to 19:00 (flexible if there were no guests the day before – please ask us!)
Departure: from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Health and Hygiene Guidelines:

It is advisable to wear slippers while indoors. Smoking is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the house, including the terraces. This policy is in place to safeguard the risk of fire. Outdoor fires are not permitted due to the potential fire hazard. Barbecues are permitted exclusively in the designated areas.

Pets:

Dogs or cats are allowed when expressly authorized at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

To secure your reservation, 50% of the amount is required, within a week after reservation, through a bank transfer. The remaining amount should be paid within 60 days before arrival. Upon online reservation, you'll receive an email containing all necessary details for the bank transfer. Cancellations made within 15 days before the scheduled arrival date are non-refundable, and the amount cannot be applied to future reservations.

Refunds for cancellations are applicable if made more than 2 months before the scheduled arrival date. However, if the cancellation occurs within:

•  2 months in advance: 50% refund
•  1 month in advance: 25% refund

Cancellations made within 15 days before the scheduled arrival date are non-refundable, and the amount cannot be applied to future reservations.

Equipment:

Your rental covers everything you need for a comfy stay—bed and bath linens, utilities, kitchen appliances, dishes, cutlery, glassware, utensils, cleaning supplies, and even furniture. We take care of the cleaning before you arrive and after you leave. While you're with us, maintaining the cleanliness is your only task. If, by any chance, the house isn't returned in good shape, cleaning costs and any damages may be deducted from the deposit. This includes any misuse, breakages, or missing items like linens, decor, utensils, and furniture.

Pool:

Notice: The swimming pools associated with tourist accommodations under the residence-rural houses category, as regulated by Decree 214/1995 dated June 27, are exempt from the requirement of having lifeguards, first-aid personnel, and surveillance staff (DOGC no. 2085, dated August 7, 1995).

Important Information:

This pool does not have lifeguard services or surveillance for bathers. Access to and use of the pool is restricted for children under 14 years old without the presence of a responsible adult. Users are accountable for the proper use of the pool area and for any accidents that may occur.

To ensure everyone's safety, the use of any glass materials (glasses, plates, etc.) is strictly prohibited.

Kindly take a shower before using the pool!

Noise:

Respecting the tranquility is important to us. Please keep noise levels to a considerate minimum, especially during the late evening and early morning hours. After 11:00 PM, kindly refrain from playing music or creating loud noises in and around the house. This ensures a peaceful atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for being mindful of your fellow guests and neighbors.

Acces:

Entrance to Can Massanet is restricted to overnight guests of who we have been notified in advance. Access is not permitted for individuals who haven't been previously informed, whether inside the house, at the teraces, in the garden, or by the pool. For visitors with prior approval, additional charges may apply.

For your information:

• We have 2 very friendly labrador dogs Pip and Woef.
• Our masia is located in a calm but agricultural area so every now and then the pastures around our house need to be worked by farmers.
• While we've made every effort to insulate the house against noise, it's important to note that the property is quite old. Consequently, there is a possibility that some sounds from within the house may carry into the apartments.
• We, the owners of Can Massanet live in the building as well. Logically, we also make use of the facilities of the house like the pool, terraces, garden, etc.
