Discover the Camí de Ronda – Coastal Walks Near Can Massanet The Camí de Ronda is one of the most beautiful hiking trails on the Costa Brava. It follows the coastline, connecting beaches, cliffs, and small fishing villages. Once used by fishermen and the Civil Guard, today it’s open to everyone who enjoys walking in nature, with views of the sea and hidden coves along the way. From Can Massanet, several amazing sections of the trail are just 15–30 minutes away by car: Sant Feliu de Guíxols to S’Agaró – A well-maintained and easy path with beautiful sea views and elegant villas from the early 20th century. Perfect for a relaxed stroll. Platja d’Aro to Calella de Palafrugell – A slightly more challenging walk with forest paths, rocky stretches, and peaceful beaches. Temps de Flors in Girona – A Colourful Spring Festival Close to Can Massanet
From 10 to 18 May, the city of Girona celebrates Temps de Flors, a famous flower festival held every spring. During this week, the old town is full of colourful flower displays in the streets, parks, patios, and even inside historic buildings. You can walk through beautiful spots like the Cathedral steps, the Arab Baths, and the Sant Domènec cloister, all decorated with creative flower designs made by local artists and volunteers. It’s a great way to explore the city while enjoying the scent and colour of spring. Girona is just 15 minutes by car from Can Massanet, so it’s an easy and perfect day trip during your stay. The Traka 360
We were thrilled to host two exceptional athletes at Can Massanet in Llagostera during their participation in The Traka 360, one of Europe's premier gravel races. Jan Stöckli delivered an outstanding performance, securing 2nd place in the men's category. Simon Pellaud also showcased remarkable resilience, finishing 8th despite facing a flat tire during the race. Their dedication and perseverance exemplify the spirit of endurance cycling. The Traka 360, covering a challenging 344 km route through the picturesque landscapes of Girona, tested riders with its demanding terrain and elevation. Jan and Simon's achievements are a testament to their training and determination. At Can Massanet in Llagostera, we take pride in providing a restful and supportive environment for athletes. Hosting Jan and Simon was an honor, and we celebrate their impressive accomplishments in The Traka 360.
